When you need that extra bit of power to fight your opponents, there’s nothing more perfect than a grilled cheese!

Ingredients

2 Slices Dempster’s® White Bread/McGavin® White Bread/Bens® Holsum Fresh White Bread
2 Slices Swiss cheese
2 tbsp (30 mL) Roughly chopped kimchi
4 Thin slices Asian pear
1-2 tsp (5-10 mL) Sriracha hot sauce
1 tbsp (15 mL) Softened butter

Directions

ASSEMBLE the sandwich by topping one slice of bread with a slice of cheese, chopped kimchi, sliced Asian pear, a drizzle of sriracha, the second slice of cheese and the remaining slice of bread.

BUTTER both sides of the outside of the sandwich. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium and grill the sandwich for about 2 minutes per side or until the cheese has melted and the bread is toasted golden brown.
