The basil is the perfect complement to the sweet crabmeat. Delicious on a fresh, lightly toasted Villaggio® Sausage Bun.
|1.25 lbs||(660 g) Imitation crab meat|
|2 tsp||(10 mL) Capers|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Dijon mustard|
|3 tbsp||(45 mL) Minced basil|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) Mayonnaise|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) Celery, diced|
|Salt and pepper|
|1||Tomato, thinly sliced|
|4||Villaggio® Sausage buns, split and lightly toasted|
ROUGHLY chopped crabmeat and place in a medium bowl with the all of other ingredients except tomato, lettuce and buns. Toss gently to combine.
ASSEMBLE sandwiches by piling a generous amount of the crab mixture on each bun. Top with tomato slices and lettuce and serve.
