This comes together quickly (not much longer than the time needed to cook the pasta) and is perfect at home or packed for school in a hot lunch thermal container.
|1 sausage||JMS Chicken Smoked Sausage MILD ITALIAN|
|1/2 cup||dry pasta|
|1/2 cup||veggies (I used 1/4 cup frozen broccoli florets and a small fresh roma tomato)|
|2 tsp||olive oil|
|To taste||finely grated Parmesan (available in the spice isle and kept refrigerated after opening)|
|To taste||table salt and pepper to taste|
Cook the sausage as desired to heat it through. Chop and set aside.
Wash the roma tomato. Chop and set aside
Boil pasta, adding the broccoli during the last 4 minutes. Drain the water off when it's done.
Add the olive oil, Parmesan, salt and pepper to the pasta, and gently stir. Then, gently stir in the sausage and tomato.
