Spicy Italian Sausage makes this a filling sandwich.
|1 lb||Italian Sausage, about 4 sausages|
|4||Villagio Italian Style Crustini Buns|
|1||slice of red onion|
|2 tbsp||chopped fresh parsley|
|1 tbsp||finely chopped fresh celery leaves|
|2 tbsp||course mustard|
|1 tsp||Worcestershire sauce|
Condiment sauce: Mix celery leaves, ketchup, mayo, Worcestershire sauce and mustard in a bowl.
Cook sausages on the BBQ grill and toast buns both sides. Slice sausage lengthwise. On each bun place both halves of sausage, 1 tbsp sauce mix, some lettuce, a tomato slice, a couple of onion rings, and about a half tbsp of parsley. Cut in two to be more manageable if you wish and serve with coleslaw and potato salad, or a mixed tossed salad.
You can use regular mustard instead of coarse.
