This is an interesting way to spice up your turkey leftovers!
|2 cups||basmati rice|
|1/4 tsp||full cloves|
|2 tbsp||garam masala spice mix|
|1 tsp||chili powder|
|1/2 tsp||chili flakes|
|2 cups||cut and de-boned leftover turkey|
|1 tsp||chopped fresh parsley|
In a medium pan, melt butter over medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, mix together salt, cinnamon, cloves, garam masala, chili powder, and chili flakes. Set aside.
Add rice to melted butter, stirring well so that rice is coated in butter.
Add water, stir.
Add spices and vermicelli. Stir.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 20minutes. Stir halfway through.
Once all of the water has been absorbed, add turkey and parsley and stir.
