About this Recipe

This is an interesting way to spice up your turkey leftovers!

2 tbsp butter
2 cups basmati rice
4 cups water
2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp full cloves
2 tbsp garam masala spice mix
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1 nest vermicelli
2 cups cut and de-boned leftover turkey
1 tsp chopped fresh parsley

In a medium pan, melt butter over medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, mix together salt, cinnamon, cloves, garam masala, chili powder, and chili flakes. Set aside.
Add rice to melted butter, stirring well so that rice is coated in butter.
Add water, stir.
Add spices and vermicelli. Stir.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 20minutes. Stir halfway through.
Once all of the water has been absorbed, add turkey and parsley and stir.
Serve warm.
