Nice on a brunch table or an evening appetizer. This will be a party pleaser.
|4||slices pumpernickle bread|
|8 tbsp||hot pepper jelly|
|6 oz||cream cheese|
Cut each slice of bread into 6 squares and place on a baking sheet in the oven at 325F for about 6 min. Turn squares over halfway through. Set aside to cool.
In a skillet cook bacon to crisp and lie flat on a paper towel to drain. Cut each slice into 4 pieces.
Cut the cream cheese into slices and place one on top of each square of bread. Top with a teaspoon of hot pepper jelly and a piece of bacon.
