Smokey bites of spicy sausage along with succulent shrimp. An easy and delicious way to please your guests.
|2||Cloves garlic, minced|
|2 tsp||(10 mL) Paprika|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Olive oil|
|Salt and pepper|
|1 Pkg||Oktoberfest Grill'ems or any flavour|
|1 lb||(450 g) Jumbo shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails intact|
COMBINE garlic, paprika, olive oil, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Set aside.
THREAD 1 slice of smoked sausage onto a small skewer followed by a shrimp and another sausage slice. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Repeat with remaining sausage and shrimp. Pour marinade over the skewers and toss to coat.
BAKE in a preheated oven for 10 minutes or until sausages are hot and shrimp is bright pink and cooked through. Serve immediately.
If using bamboo skewers soak in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
Serve with your favourite dipping sauce if desired.
