Here’s a quirky idea for a pogo Pepperette! Put it all together with some yummy and healthy choices and your child is ready for anything!

Ingredients

1 Wooden skewer
1 Schneiders® Country Naturals® Pepperette
2 tsp (10 mL) Schneiders® Oktoberfest Mustard
2 tbsp (30 mL) Finely crushed pretzels
2 tbsp (30 mL) Ranch dressing
6 Celery sticks
6 Baby carrots
6 Strips red pepper
2 tbsp (30 mL) Raisins
2 tbsp (30 mL) Almonds
2-3 Sweet gherkins
1 Yogurt cup
1/2 Orange, cut into wedges
1 cup (250 mL) Water

Directions

SKEWER the pepperette lengthwise. Spread all over with mustard and roll in the crushed pretzels. Wrap in plastic and place in the lunch box.

PLACE dressing in the bottom of a small container. Place vegetable sticks upright in the container. Secure with a lid or wrap in plastic wrap. Place in the lunch box along with muffin tin liners for raisins, almonds, orange wedges and gherkins. Add a cup of yogurt and a travelling cup of water.
