|1 cup||(250 mL) Limeade|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Honey|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Vegetable oil|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Soy sauce|
|1||Cinnamon stick, halved|
|6||Cloves garlic, unpeeled|
|1/2 tsp||(2 mL) Freshly ground black pepper|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Chili flakes (optional)|
PLACE ribs and chicken in a large re-sealable plastic freezer bag or large shallow dish.
WHISK together limeade, honey, oil, and soy sauce. Pour over the chicken and ribs. Add spices and garlic. Toss to coat. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or up to overnight.
PREHEAT the oven to 400°F (200°C).
ARRANGE chicken skin side up and ribs in a large roasting pan. Pour the marinade over top. Roast for 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes or until glossy and golden brown. The internal temperature of the chicken should be 185°F (85C).
