The sweet yet pungent taste of hoisin sauce adds a punch of flavour to this delicious dish! Sprinkle with green onions, fried onions and sesame seeds to serve.
|1||Package (5 pieces) Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Split Turkey Wings|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Olive oil|
|Salt and pepper|
|1 ½ tbsp||(22 mL) Hoisin sauce|
|1 ½ tbsp||(22 mL) Sriracha hot sauce|
|1 ½ tbsp||(22 mL) Honey|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Lime juice|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Sesame oil|
|2||Green onions, thinly sliced|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Crispy fried onions|
|Toasted sesame seeds, optional|
PREHEAT oven to 375°F (190°C). TOSS turkey wings with olive oil, salt and pepper. Place on a wire rack set over a baking sheet. Roast in preheated oven for 50 minutes, turning once after 25 minutes. Preheat broiler to high.
WHISK together hoisin, sriracha, honey, lime juice and sesame oil in a large bowl. Remove wings and toss in sauce to cover liberally. Place back on the wire rack and broil under preheated broiler for 5-10 minutes or until crisp and caramelized.
SERVE sprinkled with green onions, crisp fried onions and sesame seeds, if using.
