This sweet and savoury side compliments any dish perfectly. Your kids will love the sweet taste as well!


1 tbsp (15 mL) Vegetable oil
2 ½ cups (625 mL) Baby carrots
½ cup (125 mL) Orange juice
1 tbsp (15 mL) Liquid honey
Parsley, coarsely chopped


HEAT oil in a large nonstick skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add carrots and stir-fry for 3 to 5 minutes.

ADD orange juice and continue cooking, stirring constantly, until no liquid is left in pan, approximately 4 to 5 minutes.

REMOVE from heat and drizzle with honey. Shake pan to glaze carrots.

SPRINKLE with chopped parsley and serve immediately.


Replace honey with pure maple syrup for a different flavour profile.
