Pairs well with a chipotle and garlic aioli for dipping!
3 | sweet potatoes |
4 cups | vegetable oil |
1 tbsp | chipotle mango seasoning |
Add oil to a deep pan or pot. Oil should cover the bottom and be about 1-2 inches deep. Begin heating oil on stove top.
Peel sweet potatoes.
Cut sweet potatoes into thin slices.
Add sweet potatoes to the heated oil one handful at a time. (Do this carefully as it is quite hot!)
Wait for the ends of the fries to crisp up and remove using a pair of tongs. Set cooked fries on to a piece of paper towel.
Add the next handful of uncooked potato.
Repeat this until all fries are cooked.
Place fries into large bowl.
Gently sprinkle seasoning over fries.
Flip the fries in bowl, until they are all covered in spice.
Serve with your favourite dip or aioli!
