This may seem like a lot of work, but it is really so simple and worth it!

**Updated - I have started caramelizing a onion as the first step, I love not only the added flavour but the difference in texture.

Ingredients

3 can Crushed Tomato (796 ML)
1/4 cup Molasses
1/4 cup Cider vinager
10 Roasted Garlic Cloves
1 tsp Coriander
1 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Mustard powder
1 tsp Dry thyme
2 tbsp Onion powder
1 tsp Smoked paprika
1/2 tsp Chipotle Powder
1/4 tsp Cloves
1 tsp Black Pepper
Salt
1 Sweet Onion - Diced
1 tbsp Canola Oil

Directions

Saute Onion in large pot of low heat until golden brown.

Add all remaining ingredients except the salt in a large pot and simmer for 45 minutes.

Puree mixture with a hand blender or blender until smooth.

Taste and adjust salt as needed.
