Fresh herbs liven up this simple ham and cheese frittata. Colourful and vibrant, this is a perfect dish to be served at anytime.
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Butter|
|1||Small onion, finely chopped|
|Salt and pepper|
|½ cup||(125 mL) Grated Parmesan cheese|
|1||Roma tomato, sliced|
|12||Blanched green beans|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Chopped fresh herbs|
|4||Slices Natural Selections™ Smoked Uncured Black Forest Ham|
HEAT butter in a 10- inch (25 cm) skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook for 5 minutes or until soft. Meanwhile preheat broiler to high heat.
SEASON eggs with salt and pepper; add cheese and pour into skillet. Stir gently then allow to cook, without stirring, until eggs are almost set.
ADD tomato slices, green beans, herbs and ham. Place skillet under broiler and cook until eggs are golden brown. Divide among plates and serve.
