A delicious and simple sandwich made using essential ingredients to fuel your day!
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Red wine vinegar|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Olive oil|
|1 tsp||(5 mL) Italian seasoning|
|Salt and pepper|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Mayonnaise|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Dijon mustard|
|1/2 Pkg||Maple Leaf® Ezee Sub® Hero|
|4||Cheddar cheese slices|
PREHEAT broiler to high.
MIX vinegar, olive oil and Italian seasoning together in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
SLICE buns in half and lightly brush the cut side with half the dressing. Place buns on a baking sheet and toast under the broiler until golden brown.
MIX together mayonnaise and mustard; spread over the bottom of the toasted buns. Divide the sliced meat between the two buns, top with cheese, tomato and lettuce. Drizzle with the remaining dressing and top with the remaining bun.
