Dinner in under 15 minutes. Yes, it is possible! I created this Hearty Chicken & Veggie Salad recipe as a go-to full meal for those nights of soccer practice/late night work/school recital/*insert busy family activity here*. It is fast, delicious, and healthy. And made in under 15 minutes….
|1||romaine lettuce (washed and cut)|
|1 cup||shredded carrots|
|1 Pkg||Maple Leaf Prime Chicken Strips (we loved the Italian!)|
|5||white button mushrooms|
|1/2 cup||white onion|
|1/2 cup||green olives|
|Radishes (to taste)|
Wash and cut romaine lettuce. Sprinkle on top shredded carrots, mushrooms, onion, olives, radish. Place Maple Leaf Prime Chicken Strips in microwavable dish and warm according to package directions. Carefully, remove Maple Leaf Prime Chicken Strips from microwave and spoon over salad.
Serve with homemade vinaigrette or balsamic vinegar & oil.
Serve with bread.
Makes a great lunch too!
