This healthy pizza is fast, delicious and packed full of veggies. Add chicken strips and the skimmed mozzarella means it’s lower in fat, better for you, but tastes just as good This is one of my favorite warm-weather recipes. It's so easy and so tasty! You can use it as a snack, appetizer or a meal.
|1 Pkg||6 Whole wheat pitas|
|1 can||Pizza Sauce|
|1 cup||Skimmed mozzarella cheese -schredded|
|1 cup||Cherry tomatoes - sliced|
|0.5 cups||Red/yellow peppers - diced|
|1 Pkg||Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Fully Cooked and Sliced Chicken Breasts (150g)|
|1 cup||Mixed greens|
Top pita with a thin layer of pizza sauce.
Add a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
Toast in the oven 2 to 3 minutes.
Top with mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, peppers, and chicken strips.
You could add any of your favourite vegetables.
Return to oven and toast 1 more minute.
