Let the spices of the middle east tempt your taste buds with this delicious easy turkey recipe.
1 | 1-1/2 lbs Maple Leaf Prime Turkey Breast, deboned and skin removed |
1/3 cup | olive oil |
Juice of 1 lemon | |
2 | cloves garlic, minced |
4 tbsp | dried prepared Harissa spice |
Salt | |
Pepper | |
4 | 8” inch wooden skewers |
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Cut Turkey into 1 to 1 ½ inch cubes. Place turkey in a large bowl. Pour in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, Harissa spice and salt and pepper. Toss well to coat. Divide and skewer an even amount of turkey onto each skewer. Wrap exposed skewer end in foil. Place turkey skewers onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes turning once halfway through cooking. Bake until golden brown and an internal temperature of 165 degrees is reached.
Serve over a kale and cranberry salad and drizzle with tzatziki sauce or yogurt.
