Smoky ham gets a luscious fruity topping in this versatile recipe.


2 175 g Schneiders® Olde Fashioned® Smoked Ham Steak
1 cup ligonberry preserves or your favorite fruit preserve
1 cup natural cherry juice
1 box instant stuffing
2 cups arugula
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon juice


Heat grill to medium high heat.
Prepare stuffing per package directions and set aside to keep warm. Bring preserves and juice to a low simmer for about 7 to 8 minutes. Liquid should be reduced by half and the mixture should be slightly thickened.

Grill ham steaks 3 to 4 minutes per side or until an internal temperature of 165 degrees is reached.
Toss arugula with oil and lemon juice and season with salt and pepper.
