This recipe can be made in 15 minutes but with each additional serving, the cooking time increases.
|1||Maple Leaf Ham thick slice|
|.75 cup||Milk or cream|
|.5 cup||Cheddar Cheese shredded|
|pepper a few dashes|
Cook potato in microwave for about 6 minutes. While it’s cooking, heat up some butter on a small pan. Slice a .5 inch slice of ham and place it on the pan to brown both sides. Cut up some onion and add it to the pan with ham in it. In a separate pot, make a white sauce and add pepper and cheese -set aside. When potato is done, cut off the sides lengthwise (skin mainly). Remove the ham and onion from the pan and put the onions in the white sauce. Add some butter to the pan once again and heat it up. Slice the potato in half and brown both pieces of potato in the pan. Flip and brown the other sides. Remove potatoes when browned. Place one half of potato on a plate. Add one slice of ham and some white sauce. Add second slice of ham and then top with other half of potato. Top generously with white sauce.
