1/3 (80 mL) Mustard, divided
8 Slices thick country style bread
2 (175 g) Packages Schneiders® Country Naturals® Uncured Baked Ham
8 Slices Swiss cheese
1 1/2 ½ cups (375 mL) Grated Italian cheese


PREHEAT oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13” (3.5 L) baking dish.

SPREAD all but 2 tbsp (30 mL) of the mustard over the bottom of the baking dish. Place four slices of bread over the mustard. Top these with layers of ham and Swiss cheese.

DIVIDE the remaining mustard between the remaining slices of bread. Place on top of the ham and cheese with the mustard side up. Sprinkle with the grated Italian cheese.

COVER with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, remove the foil and continue to bake until golden and the cheese has completely melted, about 15 minutes more.


Add sliced tomatoes for added freshness.
