About this Recipe

Marinating thin sliced chicken in white balsamic vinaigrette and grilling to perfection along with fresh spears of asparagus. What could be easier or tastier?

Ingredients

GRILLED WHITE BALSAMIC CHICKEN:
1 Package Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Thin Slice Chicken Breast
2 tbsp (30 mL) Olive oil
2 tbsp (30 mL) White Balsamic vinegar
2 tsp (10 mL) Honey
2 tsp (10 mL) Dijon mustard
1 tbsp (15 mL) Chopped fresh thyme
Salt and pepper
GRILLED ASPARAGUS:
1 lb (450 g) Asparagus, tough ends removed
2 tbsp (30 mL) Olive oil
Salt and pepper
2-3 tbsp (30-45 mL) Freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

PLACE chicken slices in a large re-sealable plastic bag. Add remaining ingredients. Seal bag and massage to coat the chicken. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes and up to 2 hours.

PREHEAT BBQ to medium-high.

GRILL chicken 3-4 minutes per side, turning to create grill marks. Cook chicken until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

GRILLED ASPARAGUS:
TOSS asparagus in olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Grill 7-8 minutes or until tender, turning occasionally. Sprinkle with Parmesan before serving.
