This scrumptious sandwich is a healthy lunch option any day of the week! If you don't have a panini press, simply grill this sandwich on medium-high heat until the cheese has melted.
|2||Slices DEMPSTER’S® WholeGrains™ 12 Grain bread or BON MATIN® 14 Grain bread|
|2||Slices part-skim Mozzarella cheese|
|0.5||Avocado, pitted, peeled, and sliced|
|15 ml||Olive oil|
|4||Slices of tomato|
|15 ml||Dijon mustard|
|3||Slices MAPLE LEAF Deli turkey breast|
|Salt and pepper to taste|
BRUSH olive oil on one side of both bread slices and turn over.
SPREAD mustard on bread slices and build sandwich, beginning with mozzarella, avocado, tomato, and turkey.
SEASON with salt and pepper and top with remaining bread slices, olive oil side up.
HEAT sandwich grill to medium, and cook sandwich 3 to 4 minutes, or until bread has grill marks and cheese is melted.
NO SANDWICH GRILL? Just grill the sandwich in a pan on medium-high heat until the cheese melts.
