Cajun seasoning and tartar sauce add a distinctly creole flavour to these easy to assemble shrimp rolls.
|1 Pkg||Dempster’s® Original Whole Wheat Hot Dog Buns (8) / Ben’s® Original Whole Wheat Hot Dog Buns (8)|
|2 lbs||(1 kg) peeled and deveined shrimp, thawed and patted dry|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) olive oil|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Cajun seasoning|
|1 cup||(250 mL) shredded lettuce|
|1 cup||(250 mL) tartar sauce|
Preheat grill to medium-high heat; grease grate well. Toss shrimp with olive oil and Cajun seasoning. Grill 1 to 2 minutes per side or until pink and just cooked through.
Assemble shrimp in buns with lettuce and tartar sauce.
If serving for less people, divide accordingly.
Substitute chili powder for the Cajun seasoning, if desired.
