|4||Schneider’s® Juicy Jumbos® 100% Beef Hot Dogs, quartered|
|1||Medium onion, quartered|
|1||Medium zucchini, cut in half lengthwise, then cut in half across|
|1||Sweet yellow pepper, seeded and quartered|
|1||Sweet red pepper, seeded and quartered|
|1 1/2 tbsp||(22 mL) Olive oil|
|1 cup||(250 mL) Grated Mozzarella cheese|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Olive oil|
|1||Clove garlic, minced|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Balsamic vinegar|
|1/4 tsp||(1 mL) Dry mustard powder|
|Pepper to taste|
WHISK together all of the ingredients for the dressing and set aside.
PREHEAT BBQ to medium-high.
BRUSH hot dog pieces and vegetables with olive oil. Grill for 7-8 minutes, turning frequently until evenly char-grilled (or grill under broiler for 2-3 minutes per side). Remove from BBQ and cut each vegetable piece in half again.
ASSEMBLE by dividing vegetables and hot dog pieces evenly between 3-4 plates. Drizzle with dressing and sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese. Serve with toasted Italian bread.
