Grilled cheese made better with added sharp Parmesan.
|8||Slices Provolone cheese|
|8||Slices Villaggio® Original Thick Sliced Italian Style White Bread|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) Ready prepared pasta sauce|
|1/3 cup||(80 mL) Freshly grated Parmesan cheese|
|1 Pkg||Maple Leaf® Natural Selections® Shaved Chicken Breast|
HEAT a large skillet over medium heat. Assemble sandwiches by placing a slice of cheese on top of four slices of bread. Spread each with 1-2 tbsp (15-30 mL) of pasta sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and add two slices of chicken to each. Top with the remaining bread. Lightly butter the outsides of the sandwiches.
WORKING in batches, grill each sandwich for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Serve with soup or salad.
