Grilled Chicken Breasts with Sticky Marmalade Glaze

This dish needs some time to marinate but we promise it is worth it.


1/2 Pkg Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Chicken Breasts cut in fillets
1 cup (250 mL) Orange marmalade
2 tbsp (30 mL) Balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp (30 mL) Green salsa
1/4 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
2 Cloves garlic


COMBINE the first six ingredients in a small saucepan. Heat mixture over low heat until marmalade has melted. Cool completely.

PLACE chicken fillets in a shallow bowl. Pour half the cooled marmalade mixture over the chicken and toss to coat. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or up to overnight. Reserve remaining marmalade mixture for glazing.

PREHEAT BBQ to medium-high. Lightly coat the grill with a non-stick cooking spray. Grill the chicken for 8-10 minutes turning occasionally. Brush with remaining glaze for the last 2-3 minutes.
