This dish needs some time to marinate but we promise it is worth it.
1/2 Pkg | Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Chicken Breasts cut in fillets |
1 cup | (250 mL) Orange marmalade |
2 tbsp | (30 mL) Balsamic vinegar |
2 tbsp | (30 mL) Green salsa |
1/4 tsp | Salt |
1/4 tsp | Pepper |
2 | Cloves garlic |
COMBINE the first six ingredients in a small saucepan. Heat mixture over low heat until marmalade has melted. Cool completely.
PLACE chicken fillets in a shallow bowl. Pour half the cooled marmalade mixture over the chicken and toss to coat. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours or up to overnight. Reserve remaining marmalade mixture for glazing.
PREHEAT BBQ to medium-high. Lightly coat the grill with a non-stick cooking spray. Grill the chicken for 8-10 minutes turning occasionally. Brush with remaining glaze for the last 2-3 minutes.
