A simple grilled chicken breast is the perfect complement to rich and creamy alfredo noodles.
|2||Maple Leaf Prime boneless skinless chicken breasts|
|1 Pkg||Olivieri Linguine|
|1 cup||light cream|
|1||garlic clove, crushed|
|1 cup||freshly grated Parmesan cheese|
|1 tbsp||fresh basil, finely chopped|
Set a large pot of water to boil. Add Olivieri Linguine and coo according to package directions.
While pasta is cooking, pound two chicken breasts to about 1/2-inch thickness. Lightly season and grill or fry, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from pan and set aside.
Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 minutes, then add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in basil. Toss with cooked linguine.
Serve pasta with slices of grilled chicken on top, or if desired, toss chicken slices with sauce for extra flavour.
