Fun twist on the traditional cheeseburger!
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Olive oil|
|1||Small onion, minced|
|1||Clove garlic, minced|
|1 lb||(450 g) Ground beef|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Worchestershire sauce|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Ketchup|
|Salt and pepper|
|4||Dempsters’s® 100% Whole Wheat Tortillas|
|2 cups||(500 mL) Grated Cheddar cheese|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Mustard|
HEAT oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add onion and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. Add ground beef and cook until evenly browned. Stir in Worchestershire and ketchup. Season with salt and pepper.
PREHEAT grill or panini press for medium.
ASSEMBLE wraps by sprinkling cheese down the center of each tortilla. Top with meat mixture, tomato slices and 1 tsp (5 mL) of mustard. Fold into a burrito by tucking in the edges and rolling up the filling.
GRILL sandwiches for 2-3 minutes per side on an outdoor grill or in a panini press for 2-3 minutes in total.
Add your favourite toppings into the wrap if desired. Serve with additional condiments on the side.
