Delicious oven baked sausage coupled with golden roasted root vegetables tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce, delicious!
|1 Pkg||(375 gr) Schneiders® Original Grill’ems Sausage, scored|
|2 cups||(500 mL) cauliflower, cut into small florets|
|2 cups||(500 mL) Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half|
|1||large red onion, cut into quarters|
|1||lbs baby red potatoes, halved|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) good quality maple syrup|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) sriracha sauce|
PREHEAT oven to 425 degrees.
LINE a baking sheet with parchment paper.
IN a small bowl whisk maple syrup and sriracha together.
PLACE cauliflower, Brussel sprout, onions and potatoes into a large bowl.
POUR syrup over top. Toss well to coat.
EVENLY scatter vegetables on to baking sheet.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
BAKE vegetables on lower rack of oven for 10 minutes.
ADD sausages over vegetables and reduce heat to 400 degrees.
PLACE back onto middle rack of oven and continue to cook for about 20 more minutes or until sausages reach and internal temperature of 165 degrees.
DRIZZLE with additional syrup and sriracha if desired.
