|2 cups||(500 mL) Fresh or frozen green beans|
|.5 cup||(125 mL) Chicken broth|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) MAPLE LEAF® Ready Crisp® Fully Cooked Real Bacon Pieces|
WASH, trim and cut fresh beans (if using) into 2-inch (5 cm) pieces.
BRING chicken broth to a boil in a medium-sized saucepan. Add beans, lower heat to medium-high and cook for 3 to 5 minutes until tender-crisp.
DRAIN well and toss with bacon pieces.
