Gluten Free and decadent - great for special brunches.
|1 cup||brown suger|
|8||slices @Dempsters #glutenzero bread|
|1/2 cup||chopped pecans|
In a microwavable bowl, place butter and heat in microwave for one minute. Stir in brown sugar, making sure to dissolve the sugar. Place back into microwave and heat for up to 2 min, checking every 30 seconds and stirring – do not let it bubble over .
While the sugar mixture is cooking, blend the eggs, milk, cream, vanilla and nutmeg together until frothy.
once the sugar is done, pour into well buttered square glass dish [8x8], sprinkle chopped pecans over top, add the bread – arrange in 2 layers and then pour the egg mixture on top. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
In morning take out, sprinkle with nutmeg and cinnamon and place in 350 degree oven for 40 min.
Serve warm with fresh fruit. Enjoy!
