Garlic Raisin Bread Croutons

About this Recipe

Try adding some cinnamon raisin flavour to change up your everyday salad.

Ingredients

3 tbsp (45 mL) olive oil
1 tsp (5 mL) minced garlic
6 slices Sun-Maid® Cinnamon Swirl Raisin Bread

Directions

HEAT oven to 325 F (160 C).

COMBINE olive oil and garlic in a large bowl.

CUT raisin bread into 1/2-inch cubes (2cm). Toss bread cubes with olive oil mixture.

SPREAD bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet.

BAKE about 12 minutes, turning two or three times until croutons are golden brown and crisp.

Notes

Serve with Caesar salad, tossed green salad, carrot or squash soups.
