A cheese “football”, how perfect for game day! And it’s covered in BACON! Easy and delish. Serve it with your favourite crackers.
|1||(250 g) Package cream cheese, room temperature|
|1 cup||(250 mL) Grated Sharp Cheddar cheese|
|2||Jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely diced|
|2||Green onions, finely chopped|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Franks™ Red Hot® Sauce|
|10||Slices Schneiders® Bacon, cooked and finely chopped|
|1||Mozzarella cheese string|
COMBINE cream cheese, Cheddar, jalapenos, onion and hot sauce in a bowl. Form the mixture into the shape of a football.
ROLL the cheese football in bacon bits to coat. Arrange on a serving platter. Tear the cheese into thin strings and using long and short lengths, fashion on top to resemble laces on a football.
Serve with your favourite crackers.
