Light and fresh with these summer turkey dogs!

Ingredients

6 Maple Leaf Prime® Turkey Wieners
3 tbsp (45 mL) red peppers, diced small
3 tbsp (45 mL) yellow peppers, diced small
3 tbsp (45 mL) green pepper, diced small
3 tbsp (45 mL) cherry tomatoes, diced small
3 tbsp (45 mL) cucumber, diced small
1 tsp (5 mL) olive oil
1 1/2 tsp (7.5 mL) lime juice
Salt
Pepper
1 small avocado, pit removed and sliced
1/4 cup (60 mL) plain greek yoghurt
6 hot dog buns, split

Directions

PREHEAT grill to medium high heat.

IN a small bowl combine, peppers, tomatoes, cucumber, oil and lime juice.

SEASON with salt and pepper and set aside.

GRILL wieners for 3 to 4 minutes or until and internal temperature of 165 degrees is reached.

LIGHTLY toast hot dog buns for 15 to 30 seconds.

ASSEMBLE hot dogs by placing a wiener into each bun followed by sliced avocado.

SPOON salsa over top.

DRIZZLE with yoghurt.

Notes

Try serving with sparkling lemon water. Freeze any additional wieners.
