About this Recipe

Nothing can top breakfast bacon, so I try to add it to most of my breakfast recipes. This is one that I love, though it's taken me a few test-runs to get my perfect combination.

Ingredients

1 Pkg Bacon
1 Pkg French Bread
6 Eggs
1/2 cup Milk
1/2 cup cream cheese
1/2 cup Favourite jam
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 tbsp Butter
2 tbsp oil for frying

Directions

1. Fry bacon to desired consistency
2. Slice bread about 3/4" thick.
3. Mix cream cheese, butter, and jam together.
4. Spread in a thick layer on bread slices. Place 2 slices of bacon in between two bread slices and sandwich together.
5. In a separate bowl, mix egg and milk.
6. Dip sandwiches in egg and fry until golden brown.
7. Serve with maple syrup.
