1/2 cup | (125 mL) Smooth peanut butter |
1/2 cup | (125 mL) Raspberry jam |
4 | Eggs |
2 tbsp | (30 mL) Milk |
1 tsp | (5 mL) Cinnamon |
1/3 cup | (80 mL) Sugar |
2 tbsp | (30 mL) Vegetable oil |
ROLL each slice of bread to a ¼-⅛” thickness using a rolling pin. Spread each with peanut butter then jam. Roll each piece of bread from top to bottom as tightly as possible.
WHISK together eggs and milk in a shallow bowl.
HEAT oil in a large non-stick skillet over low. Dip each bread roll into the egg mixture and place in the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown. Combine cinnamon and sugar in a shallow bowl. Place each roll in the mixture and toss to coat. Serve with maple syrup if desired.
Use your favourite jam.
