|1||Dempster’s Apple Pie Bagel|
|1||dash of salt and pepper|
|1||drop of vanilla|
|1||butter to cook with|
toast bagel first until lightly browned. Beat egg in bowl, add a dash of salt and pepper to taste, and a drop of vanilla. Soak toasted bagel in egg mixture, for about 5 minutes, turn it over about half way, remove. In a buttered pan, place flat side of bagel down first, pour in remaining egg mixture and cook on medium for a few minutes per side. Remove and enjoy as is, or with maple syrup.
