About this Recipe

Is there anything more cozy than pizza for Movie night?
This pizza has green veggies, oozing cheddar and stretchy mozz, tangy tomato sauce and a whole wheat crust. Comforting and easy to make.
This pizza is so scrumptious that no one will miss the meat!

1 uncooked whole wheat pizza dough at room temperature
1 1/2 cups marinara sauce, preferable homemade
1 cup defrosted spinach, squeezed of excess moisture, chopped finely or swiss chard
1 cup eacg shredded mozzarella and sharp cheddar or any combination you prefer
flour for rolling
1 tbsp oil, your favourite
1 clove of garlic

Preheat a small skillet on medium high heat.
Add the oil and garlic. Saute for 30 seconds to a light brown.
Add the spinach and cook for approximately 3 minutes to evaporate all of the moisture. Cool to the touch.
Sprinkle a clean surface scantly with flour roll pizza dough to shape to the size of your baking sheet. You can use your hands to stretch the dough as well.
Place on an oiled baking sheet, sprinkle lightly with extra flour to prevent sticking.
Spread sauce over dough to within 1"-2" of the edge.
Sprinkle the spinach over the pizza.
Cover with cheese.
Bake in a 450F for 30min or until the bottom of the pizza is crisp.

Extra veggies can be added to your desires. Mine had a bit of extra canned artichokes!
A pinch of salt can be added to the spinach but, the cheese really has enough.
