Spice up your stir-fry with this unique chicken and green bean toss that’s loaded with flavour.


1 Pkg chow mien noodles
2 tbsp (30 mL) Vegetable oil
2 Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Skinless Boneless Chicken Breasts, cut into thin strips
2 Cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
1 Fresh green chili, seeded and sliced
1 tbsp (15 mL) Chinese five-spice powder
3 g (750 mL) Green beans, cut into bite-size pieces
1/3 cup (80 mL) Chicken stock or water
1/4 cup (60 mL) Oyster sauce
2 tbsp (30 mL) Soy sauce


COOK noodles according to package instructions, and set aside.

HEAT oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Cook chicken 4-5 minutes. Add garlic, chili, 5 spice powder and beans. Cook 4-5 minutes longer. Add chicken stock, oyster sauce and soy sauce.

TOSS with noodles and serve.
