Spice up your stir-fry with this unique chicken and green bean toss that’s loaded with flavour.
|1 Pkg||chow mien noodles|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Vegetable oil|
|2||Maple Leaf Prime Naturally® Skinless Boneless Chicken Breasts, cut into thin strips|
|2||Cloves garlic, peeled and crushed|
|1||Fresh green chili, seeded and sliced|
|1 tbsp||(15 mL) Chinese five-spice powder|
|3 g||(750 mL) Green beans, cut into bite-size pieces|
|1/3 cup||(80 mL) Chicken stock or water|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) Oyster sauce|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Soy sauce|
COOK noodles according to package instructions, and set aside.
HEAT oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Cook chicken 4-5 minutes. Add garlic, chili, 5 spice powder and beans. Cook 4-5 minutes longer. Add chicken stock, oyster sauce and soy sauce.
TOSS with noodles and serve.
