This recipe is fast and fancy. I have had great reviews from my family. They love this sweet and filling creation. Put the 2 halves together and you have a tasty sandwich.
|1||Dempster's English muffin|
|1||free range egg (beaten)|
|1 tsp||white sugar|
|1 tbsp||Pure Maple syrup|
|2 tsp||icing sugar for garnish|
In a small glass bowl, whisk egg, milk, vanilla, sugar until mixed. Place each half of English muffin in bowl for 1 minute each, turn to coat during process. In a fry pan add butter, turn on element to med-high. When butter is sizzling add the coated English muffin halves. Cook for approx 1 minute on each side or until golden. Plate and sift icing sugar over both halves for garnish. Serve Maple syrup in a shooter or sherry glass on the side. Stack the 2 halves together and you have a sweet tasty sandwich. Enjoy!
