About this Recipe

An english muffin with the taste of salty, sharp & sweet all rolled into one in a french toast version. So good you & your guests will be asking for more. Make for one or by the plateful.


1 Dempsters English Muffin
2 tsp orange marmalade
3 strips Maple Leaf Ready Crisp bacon
2 slices old cheddar cheese
1 egg
3 tbsp orange juice
1/4 tsp brown sugar
few drops vanilla
1 tbsp butter


With a sharp knife cut a pocket into the english muffin. Spread 1 tsp. orange marmalade on each inside half. Cut bacon strips in half & place in english muffin & add cheese slices.

Beat egg in bowl, add orange juice, brown sugar & vanilla. Dip english muffin in egg mixture till well soaked.

Heat butter in non-stick skillet on medium heat. Add the stuffed english muffin to the skillet & cook on each side till lightly browned & cheese is melted. Remove to plate & garnish with extra orange marmalade & powdered sugar.
