About this Recipe

Talk about a healthy and economical way of serving hot and delicious pizza in the comfort of your own home. Plus, you don't need to watch out for calories and carbs if you know you got the best ingredients a pizza could have. Love it!

Ingredients

1 Pkg MapleLeaf Natural Selections Sliced Pepperoni
2 can small pasta sauce
2 tsp tomato paste
15 g medium diced onion
2 tsp garlic
4 tbsp olive oil
1 Pkg naan bread (wheat)
2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)
2 cups Gruyere cheese (shredded)
10 g sliced bell peppers (mixed colors)
1 g salt
1 g pepper
1 g sugar

Directions

1. Heat oven in 350F.
2. Saute onion in olive oil until translucent then add the garlic.
3. Add the tomato paste and let it turn brown before adding the tomato sauce in. Season with salt, pepper & sugar. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Set aside to cool. (TIP: I cooked my pizza sauce the day before to save time.)
4. Place the naan bread on a baking sheet. Spread the sauce evenly on top of each bread. Adding the sliced pepperoni, bell peppers and cheese.
5. Bake for at least 10 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
**Adding mixed leaves as toppings, drizzled with olive oil when pizza are out from the oven would surely be awesome!**

Notes

The naan bread and all the ingredients complement with each other. This is a MUST try! Comments and/or suggestions are highly appreciated. Thank you!
