This family favourite can be made any day of the week with this Easy French Toast recipe! Serve with warm maple syrup, fresh berries and a dusting of icing sugar and cinnamon!
|2 ml||Vanilla extract|
|15 ml||Vegetable oil|
|4||Slices DEMPSTER’S® / BEN'S® Smart™ White with Whole Grain Bread|
|Maple syrup, warmed|
COMBINE eggs, vanilla, milk and sugar in a bowl.
DIP bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides. Be careful not to leave it in the mixture for too long.
HEAT oil in a large skillet over medium.
ADD bread to skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes per side. Flip bread over when cooked side turns golden brown.
SERVE with warm syrup and fresh berries, dusted with icing sugar and cinnamon.
