These little snacks were a huge hit with our taste testers. Get em while they’re hot. They won’t last long.
|1 Pkg||(750 g) Maple Leaf® Prime® Chicken Nuggets|
|6||Slices Maple Leaf® Bacon, cut in half|
|12||2” (5 cm) Square, thin slices cheddar or havarti cheese|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) Shredded lettuce|
|1/2 cup||(125 mL) Mayonnaise|
|3 tbsp||(45 mL) Hot sauce|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Finely chopped sweet pickle|
|2 tbsp||(30 mL) Finely chopped onion|
PREHEAT oven to 425°F (220C). Bake chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper according to the package directions.
ARRANGE bacon on a parchment lines baking sheet in the oven. Cook until crisp, about 15 minutes. Set aside on a paper towel to drain.
MEANWHILE, stir together all of the ingredients for the special sauce. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
ASSEMBLE sliders by spreading sauce on the bottom of a chicken nugget followed by cheese, bacon and lettuce. Top with another nugget and enjoy.
