Take a flavor vacation without leaving your kitchen. This chicken burger will deliver a Havana night.
|4||Maple Leaf Prime® Raised Without Antibiotics Chicken Burgers|
|1||175 g package Maple Leaf Natural Selections Baked Ham|
|4||flat breads or flat bread style buns, cut in half or split|
|8||slices swill cheese|
|3/4 cup||(175 mL) grainy mustard|
|1/4 cup||(60 mL) maple syrup or honey|
|4||large dill pickles, thinly sliced|
PLACE chicken burgers on a parchment lined baking sheet.
COOK per package directions turning half way through cooking.
ASSEMBLE sandwiches by spreading mustard onto bottom of bread followed by chicken burger and ham.
TOP each with two slices of swiss cheese and pickles.
TOP with remaining bread.
WORKING in batches, lightly oil a large skillet with olive oil.
BRING to medium high heat. Brush top of each sandwich lightly with olive oil.
PLACE top side down onto pan and place a heavy bottom skillet over top for 1 to 2 minutes or until bottom of sandwich is browned and crisp.
FLIP sandwich and cook an additional minute or until cheese is melted.
REMOVE onto plate.
REPEAT with remaining sandwiches.
