A variation of pigs in a blanket using refrigerated croissant pastry tube.
|235 g||tube of refrigerated croissant dough|
|8||Maple Leaf Top Dogs|
|8||slices process cheese (or real cheese)|
Cut cheese slices into further 4 long slices and stack.
Cut hot dogs through lengthwise leaving ends attached. Stuff cheese stack into this pocket.
Separated croissant triangles and wrap round prepared hot dogs. Place on a cookie sheet and cook for about 12 minutes. (Until pastry is browned and cheese melted).
I like to dip these in ketchup with a salad for lunch.
