This popular Middle Eastern dip makes a wonderful snack or appetizer! Use Dempster's® Pita Pockets to make homemade herbed pitas for dipping.
|2||DEMPSTER’S®/POM® Pita pockets|
|10 ml||Vegetable oil|
|Dried herbs (basil, thyme, oregano)|
|Sesame seeds OR poppy seeds|
|227 g||Tub ready prepared hummus|
PREHEAT oven to 400ºF (200ºC). BRUSH pitas lightly with vegetable oil and sprinkle with dried herbs and seeds. CUT each pita into 8 triangles and place on cookie sheet and bake for 5 minutes. COOL slightly and serve with hummus.
