Bacon and mushrooms go together like salt and pepper in this gourmet pasta dish.


12 oz (375 g) Fresh pasta
1 tsp (5 mL) Vegetable oil
1 Pkg (8 oz/ 227 g) Sliced white mushrooms
2 cups (500 mL) Baby spinach
1 Pkg Maple Leaf® Natural Selections® Bacon Pieces
1 Pkg (300 mL) Olivier® Alfredo Sauce
1 tbsp (15 mL) Chopped parsley


COOK pasta according to package directions. Drain and toss lightly in olive oil to prevent sticking.

HEAT oil in a large fry pan over medium heat. Add mushrooms and sauté for 3-5 minutes. Add spinach, cook for 2 minutes or until spinach has wilted and liquid has evaporated.

MIX in bacon pieces, sauce and pasta. Heat for 5 minutes.

SERVE immediately sprinkled with parsley.


Try using other varieties of mushrooms for a different flavor profile.
