Chicken soup is so comforting and good for you anytime! This soup is so cool looking in a thermos at school.


1 Maple Leaf Prime Naturally Whole Chicken
6 carrots
4 celery stalks
2 medium onions
Handful baby spinach
2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp black pepper
10 cups water


Place the chicken in a large pot. Cut carrots and celery stalks into 1 inch pieces. Quarter the onion. Add the vegetables to the pot with the salt, pepper, and water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, skimming any foam and oil, until the chicken is cooked through, about 25 minutes. Chop baby spinach and simmer for 5 minutes. Shred the meat and add it to the soup. Ladle into individual bowls. Serves 4 - 6. Enjoy!
